Allegiance rank (also known as "Faction rank") refers to a pair of titles that you can display for prestige: the Friend of the Kurzicks and Friend of the Luxons title tracks.

They are awarded per account for transferring Kurzick or Luxon faction to an alliance.

After June 15, 2007 update, faction spent to purchase PvE skills, Jadeite, Amber, and Passage Scroll will also add to the title.

In November 13, 2008 update, Young Heroes of Tyria and Shiro's Return books were added, which can also give you Allegiance points.

Faction spent on Amber, Jadeite, and Passage Scrolls provides 1 point per faction spent; faction spent on Faction Transfer and skills provide 2 points per faction spent. The book rewards vary and depend on how complete the book was when turned in; they can earn up to 90,000 title points for a complete Young Heroes of Tyria, or 120,000 points for a complete Shiro's Return.

The Zaishen Title Track has similar rank names to the Allegiance titles, but should not be confused with them, since the Zaishen title acquisition is very different from Kurzick and Luxon titles.

These titles are granted to an account for transferring Luxon or Kurzick faction. Achieving rank 1 in the Kurzick/Luxon title track will raise your faction cap by 5000. Each subsequent rank will raise your faction cap by 1000.

Notes

  • Reaching rank 4 in either of the tracks will allow you to display a trophy in the Hall of Monuments. The trophy is a blue Kurzick or red Luxon flag with the corresponding emblem.
