Allegiance rank (also known as "Faction rank") refers to two titles: Friend of the Kurzicks and Friend of the Luxons that can be displayed for prestige. Each title has an associated set of skills that increase in power at higher ranks.

Title points are awarded per account for spending Kurzick or Luxon faction in various ways:

Note: Progress in the Zaishen Title Track is earned differently than the Allegiance title tracks, despite the similarities in names.

Allegiance title track

These titles are granted to an account for spending Luxon or Kurzick faction. Achieving rank 1 in the Kurzick/Luxon title track will raise your faction cap by 5000. Each subsequent rank will raise your faction cap by 1000.

Rank Title Faction spent
1 Kurzick/Luxon Supporter 100,000
2 Friend of the Kurzicks/Luxons 250,000
3 Companion of the Kurzicks/Luxons 400,000
4 Ally of the Kurzicks/Luxons 550,000
5 Sentinel of the Kurzicks/Luxons 875,000
6 Steward of the Kurzicks/Luxons 1,200,000
7 Defender of the Kurzicks/Luxons 1,850,000
8 Warden of the Kurzicks/Luxons 2,500,000
9 Bastion of the Kurzicks/Luxons 3,750,000
10 Champion of the Kurzicks/Luxons 5,000,000
11 Hero of the Kurzicks/Luxons 7,500,000
12 Savior of the Kurzicks/Luxons
(Max level)
10,000,000

Kurzick / Luxon skills

After reaching the first rank, Kurzick/Luxon Supporter, level 20 characters may learn skills from a Kurzick Bureaucrat or Luxon Scavenger for 3000 Faction each. A list of these skills can be found at Kurzick/Luxon skills.

  • Buying a skill costs 3000 faction, but awards 6000 faction towards your title track.
  • Buying skills does not contribute towards your guild's faction.

Notes

  • Reaching rank 4 in either of the tracks will allow you to display a trophy in the Hall of Monuments. The trophy is a blue Kurzick or red Luxon flag with the corresponding emblem.

Historical note Historical note: The November 13, 2008 update added the books, Young Heroes of Tyria and Shiro's Return, both of which also provide Allegiance points.

Historical note Historical note: The June 15, 2007 update allowed players to use faction to purchase PvE skills, Jadeite, Amber, and Passage Scroll, each of which also adds to the title.
