Skill details

Full: For 24 seconds, foes struck by your physical attacks become Poisoned for 3...13 seconds.

Concise: (24 seconds.) Your physical attacks inflict Poisoned condition (3...13 seconds).

Whereas with weapon/armor bonus descriptions the term "physical attack" mean "physical damage", a damage type, the "physical attacks" in the context of this skill refers to attacks done by axes, bows, daggers, hammers, swords, spears, and scythes regardless of whether the weapons actually deal physical damage. For example, while a Icy Dragon Sword would typically deal elemental damage, attacks done with that sword will be considered "physical attack" by this skill and will poison the target if it hits.
This skill is best used with a fast firing bow and tagging multiple enemies (e.g. Recurve Bow).
Apply Poison along with Scavenger's Focus are the only preparations that apply to physical damage.
The effects of combining this skill with Burning Arrow is extremely effective as it will max out the degen rate.
