Description
Asterius The Mighty is a berserking bison Dervish Boss. He patrols around the southwest section of Varajar Fells with four Berserking Bison.
He doesn't seem to have a set spawn location. He has been encountered in different sections of Varajar Fells, ranging from just outside Olafstead to outside Jotun Cave to the west of Olafstead.
Most commonly, it seems he's found just west of Olafstead just past where the snow turns into green grass on the map, just off the road.

Notes
- Asterius and his accompanying berserking bisons can take out your entire party if you don't spot him coming. Be careful about aggroing him if there are monks near him as it can take a while to take the mob down.
- In normal mode, it takes him 8-10 minutes to patrol his route.
- In Hard Mode, he will run his route in 2 minutes.
- If you are hunting him ( In HM ), go outside Olafstead, get the bounty from Olgana Beartamer, walk a little bit to the west, and wait for him, he will come in roughly 1 minute. Remember: This only works in Hard Mode.
