A ban is used as a last resort for players who had an unacceptable behavior or have violated rules (the EULA) in an outrageous way. It materializes through the impossibility to play on that account, or the so-called "IP-ban", which leads to the impossibility to play from that IP (e.g. same computer from which the ban was taken)
