Basic armor is an armor function that provides Energy, Energy recovery, Health and Armor bonuses depending on profession. It is available for Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall and Core armors. Every piece of armor other than festival headgear includes the basic armor bonuses. Basic armor does not include bonuses inherent to many insignia, runes, or attributes from headgear.
