Bear form is a skill utilized exclusively by the gigantic Norn in the Eye of the North expansion pack. When used, it partially transforms the Norn into what looks like a semihumanoid Grizzly or Brown bear. While in Bear form, the player or NPC can still use a weapon and remains standing upright. Norn guarding Resurrection shrines or Norn Collectors will typically take bear form immediately after a player accepts a challenge from them to fight. It is usually important and quite easy to interrupt this skill, as all encountered Norns will use it immediately after entering combat. This is especially true when fighting Knorr Oaken and Magni the Bison.
