Cleaning Up This Category

Do the following need to be in this category?

  • Ascalon Arena
  • D'Alessio Arena
  • Deldrimor Arena
  • Fort Koga
  • The Crag

Maybe, we can have a subcategory labeled Arena Maps?--The King Tarosian 19:26, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Maps

One idea that could be useful is to add maps for each of the arenas and the different guild halls. This, in my opinion, would be nice when talking strategy for the different maps. Thoughts? --GraceAlone 03:49, 23 February 2006 (CST)

This category is messed up

I don't know where to go with this. On the one hand it lists Arena LOCATIONS (i.e. Ascaln and Shiverpeaks) but on the other hand, it lists Arena TYPEs (i.e. Fort Koga and The Crag) which really can be played in Random or Team Arenas. They determine the type of the match (i.e. Deathmatch, or kill count or whatever). The arena LOCATIONS should go into their respective campaing locations by type folder, the Arena TYPES are a mystery to me on how to categorize them. --Karlos 21:53, 6 April 2006 (CDT)

They all are locations (well apart from heroes crypt, where I am not sure), just a few of them can only be reached via the battle isles anymore. --Xeeron 00:32, 7 April 2006 (CDT)

Clean-up

I made a command decision while cleaning up Category:Landmarks to remove Category:Locations from the various arenas and apply an location info box; IMO, this best fits the current location taxonomy. However, the location box is kludged to fit arenas- they really belong to a different set of parameters. For example, see the official wiki's Heroes' Crypt. So, should this wiki also have an arena info box? Or would people prefer to find a way to make the current box work?   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:17, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
