- Like many of the names in the game, this is a reference to one of the alpha testing players or guilds, in this case, Katherine Embelom, one of the Strategy Researchers for the Factions Prima Strategy Guide. Katherine is a member of the Amazon Basin guild (Guild of the Week showcase). Catrine Embolom is to be named after the same person as Katurin Ehmbolem in Resplendent Makuun.
