Continents are the largest areas of landmass in the game.
- Note: Real life earth continents (North America, Europe, ...) are referred to as "territories", in the game and in this wiki.
Each campaign takes place on a different continent, with a common "core" continent for PvP.
- Battle Isles (Core / PvP)
- Tyria (Prophecies campaign)
- Cantha (Factions campaign)
A continent usually comprises of several regions.
Each continent has a separate map. In order to map travel between continents players must use the "ship symbol" on the map. (Note that this symbol must first be "unlocked" by reaching the shipping location.)
