- Vulture Drifts offers good Desert Griffon farming spots near the portals to Skyward Reach & Dunes of Despair. The first offers fewer Griffons, but you can zone in/out to respawn. The second location (in between the nearby teleporters) sports groups of 10 griffons (plus some Sand Elementals). Griffons are also concentrated in The Scar in the north-northeast.
