Proposed "Official" Color Proportions[]
14 April 2010, I (KohanX) took the current drop statistics from above and created a set of drop rates from "nice" numbers (multiples of 2.5%), resulting in the following:

A chi-square test using this data of 1689 observances shows that, if this proposed set of color proportions is correct, then the data that has been accumulated so far has a 38.6% chance of occurring.
All things considered, I think that a roughly-40% level of confidence is pretty good. If anyone thinks that a different proposed set is more likely, but he or she does not know how to conduct a chi-square test, I will be happy to do so for him or her if I am e-mailed at hotmail.com@idrox0 (in reverse, of course). I am happy to have put my Statistics course to good use :).
