- Unlike Read the Wind, this skill really does change the speed of the arrow, and does not simply set a flat projectile arc. This means bows with larger arcs, like longbows and flatbows, can still miss at long range.
- The projectiles fired by bone fiends are not arrows and therefore are unaffected by Favorable Winds.
- Combines well with Barrage, as this is not a preparation.
