I actually agree with the anonymous poster, the default text is annoying as all get-out.

- It should disappear as soon as you click the text (I hope >.>), as is the case with the Firefox built-in Search function. It shows "Google" or "GuildWiki" or whatever you currently have active in gray text. When you click on it, the text disappears and you can type your search query. ---

- It's been annoying me on other wikia wikis (like "help") when I needed to open a page just to have a search box, and the text in the search box lagged by about 2-3 seconds, so I'd already started to type when the text insertion hit. It may not be as noticeable on a fast computer that can deal with the Monaco speedily, and I believe it's gotten better than it was, too. --◄mendel► 15:32, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, it doesn't work like it used to. Just now I've started typing before the text popped in, and I can't get the edit box to show me cursor again or to blank itself. --◄mendel► 15:35, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
