The [[Jade Brotherhood]] are one of the two dominant gangs of Kaineng City, the other being the Am Fah. Together, these two gangs have control over all trade of Kaineng City, both legal and illegal. However, these gangs are locked in a constant state of warfare with each other, and only cooperate over occassional crackdowns on their activities. If either is to gain the upper hand over the other, it could lead to a monoploy, and a possible coup against the emperor. The emperor's personal angents ensure that this never happens.

The interesting thing about them is that none of the [[Jade Brotherhood]] seem to use any skills at all. Making them quite soloable by almost any class that has decent armor and damage like a [[Warrior]] or [[Assassin]]. (It is unknown whether this is intended or an oversight by Arenanet in the Faction Weekend event).

If either is to gain the upper hand over the other, it could lead to a monoploy, and a possible coup against the emperor. The emperor's personal angents ensure that this never happens.
