The Luxons and the Kurzicks are at war. If the alliance battle has reached the Kaanai Canyon, then the Kurzicks have driven the Luxons back to their holdout position. Extra defenses and familiarity give the Luxons a definite strategic advantage here, no matter how the greater war is going. Each side in the alliance battle consists of three teams of four players (all three teams must be from the same faction) to create two squads of 12. When the [[Kurzicks]] are having a good streak, the [[Kurzick-Luxon border]] will be pushed far into the [[Luxon]] territory. The Luxons are given a great advantage over the battle by having [[control point]]s closer to the Luxon base. ''The red image is the Luxon base, the blue, Kurzick. Kurzick teams either spawn at the Kurzick base, or at the two resurrection shrines at the top of the map, which begin the battle in Kurzick hands.''

The Luxons have a strong advantage on this map, the Kurzicks are compensated for their disadvantage with an Underdog Bonus equal to 200% of their score, providing them with a total of 3 Faction per point scored.
This map seems to simulate a Kurzick attack on a stronghold deep in Luxon territory. The Luxons have a well-protected base in the center, while the remainder of the map consists of an area sculpted out of the [[Jade Sea]]. Around some of the control points are wooden constructions that a Kurzick siege force could have placed.

Players may enter the opposing teams base to cap the internal shrines, however the southern part is guarded by a invulnerable, stationary NPC named [[Base Defender]].
At the Luxon base there are two points to be captured, one with three rangers, and another with three warriors. Along the walls are also Luxon Elementalists, Necromancers, and Mesmers. The Southern part of the fort also has a permanent resurrection shrine which will kill Kurzicks that move up the stairs.

== Notes ==
 
*Powder Kegs: Powder kegs can be used in a fashion similar to the [[Powder Keg]]s in the Southern Shiverpeaks, forcefully opening Luxon doors. These items also cause knockdown and set people on fire for 2 seconds. This happens to anyone near the keg when it blows up, friendly or otherwise.
 
*Repair Kits: These kits can repair the damage done by Kurzick powder kegs by fixing a broken door. Note that they cannot be picked up after being dropped, however. They function similarly to the [[Repair Kit]]s found in some Guild Halls.
