Mercia the Smug is a Mursaat mesmer boss found in Abaddon's Mouth. Along with Optimus Caliph, one of the highest ranking Mursaat, Mercia fought alongside Saul D'Alessio to drive back the Charr invasion of Kryta.

• This boss is quite capable of keeping herself alive by the use of Ether Feast alone. It is recommended to bring skills to interrupt and/or disable this spell.
• She shares her spawning point in Abaddon's Mouth mission with Cairn the Destroyer, Cairn the Relentless, Willa the Unpleasant, and Sarlic the Judge. Optimus Caliph always spawns in the last spot, guarding the gate to the Door of Komalie itself.
