General Information
Region: Ascalon
The Pockmark Flats are a large area south-east of Ascalon City. The northern part is a large crater with a giant Charr crystal in the middle with a lake of tar around it, and the southern part has a number of twisting paths with scattered ruins of a settlement of unknown name.

Notes
- Tip: A good place to start for solo adventures into the Pockmark Flats is the Serenity Temple. Right outside the exit you will find Devona. Talk to her (doubleclick her) and she will accompany you on your excursions as an ally. She is quite a powerful Warrior (more powerful than your henchman Stefan), and does not count as one of your party members, so you can have 5 people when in Pockmark Flats, so consider to take her with you whenever you explore the Pockmark Flats or the Eastern Frontier (see the Pockmark Flats discussion page, as there seems to be a bug regarding Devona.).
- To receive credit for the Vanquisher title track in this area you must defeat 151-234 monsters in Hard Mode.
- The tar pool around the crystal doesn't have the Tar environnment effect.
- This area accounts for about 1.4% of Tyria when completely explored.
