- "Riding the lightning" is a shadow step, meaning you will drop any bundle you are carrying and must have an unobstructed path to your target. If there is no clear path to the target, the spell will still activate and deal damage, but you will not shadow step.
- This and Ebon Escape are the only non-assassin skills that allow a character to shadow step.
- This is the only shadow step to deal damage and is the fastest recharging shadow step.
