Description

The Serpent Axe is an axe with two skins. The Tyrian skin is larger and dye fully effects it, while the canthan one is smaller and dye only effects the serpent symbol and yellow peices of the axe. Note that there is no diffrence between the skins icon other than the tyrian version's icon will show no effect from dye. It head, resembells a boot. The blade is engraved with the image of a serpent(the same as the Guild symbol), hence its name.

Location

Serpent Axes are a random drop. While they do not seem to drop in any specific area, they are one of the rarest items in the game. Serpent Axes usually drop at or near max damage.

A Battle Axe with the Serpent Axe skin is given as a quest reward after completing Little Thom's Big Cloak, a pre-searing quest. Damage 3-5 Serpent Axes (properly named) are also known to drop in pre-searing.

Lower level Serpent axes (white and blue) drop often on the Shing Jea Island.

Serpent Axes may drop in Nightfall, though this fact is yet to be proven. Serpent Axes also drops in Prophecies, some players claim to obtain it in the Fissure of Woe.

Dye

• Dye will fully effect the Tyrian version.
• Dye will effect only the symbol and yellow parts of the canthan version.
