Dialogue

"<character name>, I hunger! And the only thing that can satisfy my craving is a mountainous pile of barbecued heket legs dripping with 11 herbs and spices! I am too busy smithing to gather them myself. You couldn't believe the reactions I got the last time I got to Vabbi to get some, either. The nerve! Just because you are missing a few pounds of flesh and you are a bit rotted, people act like you're a monster. Help ol'Rokel out, won't you?"

Accept: Sure, they're finger-lickin' good.

Decline: Send someone else for take out.

When asked about quest: "What are you waiting for, <character name>? What's left of my stomach is growling! Hurry up and get me some heket legs from Vabbi!

Reward Dialogue

"Mmmmmmm, delicious! The perfect on-the-job snack for any smithy worth her iron. Now I can get my work done without being distracted by my unending hunger... at least for now. It's cookin' time!"

Walkthrough

Heket legs are quest items only dropping from Hekets when you have the quest active. Hekets can for example be found in some parts of Vabbi like South of The Kodash Bazaar, but also North of the Command Post at the Turai's Procession exit. While the quest is active, all Heket killed in your vicinity (by your party or some other creatures) will drop Heket Legs, but as soon as you have at least 10 in your inventory, they will no longer drop.

There is an easy way to complete this quest without a party and without fighting anything. Enter Forum Highlands, wait some time and after around 5 minutes the Skree harpies in the north-western part between Jennur's Horde and Tihark Orchard will have killed at least 10 Hekets and you just need to pick up the legs.

• The "11 herbs and spices" and "finger-lickin' good" lines are a reference to KFC (formerly known as "Kentucky Fried Chicken")... a fast food chain.
