So... Why would you choose this over a Crown? 76.175.146.10 03:47, 29 August 2007 (CDT)

free ale? beats having to pay 600g for the equivalent in normal dwarven ales, imo Tera arcane 12:46, 29 August 2007 (GMT)

You mean 500g --Gimmethegepgun 06:48, 29 August 2007 (CDT)
Free ale? A Bison Championship Token costs 100g, assuming that you win every tournament. If you loose sometimes the mean cost for a token rises. Thats 500g (or more) and a lot of time for just one aged ale. I wont call that free. - Khan Reaper Kerensky 07:54, 29 August 2007 (CDT)
Regular are gives less potential minutes for Drunkard, so counting in minutes, this is cheaper. --84.24.206.123 07:56, 29 August 2007 (CDT)
For the same amount of money you get the same effect, except to get this you have chances of losing. How is that cheaper? --Gimmethegepgun 08:05, 29 August 2007 (CDT)
With the Aeromancer build at this link i've never phailed killing foes. So I suppose your right, unless you have a build with wich you can make it 100%... But, I stand corrected, it isn't cheaper, but equally cheap. --84.24.206.123 08:15, 29 August 2007 (CDT)
There's a large time investment in going through the tournament 5 times just to get 1 of these ales. For players that don't have the money/don't want to wait for Spiked Eggnogs to come around, this maybe the only way to get level 5 alcohol and thus, may find the time investment worthwhile. Nevertheless, it may be a good idea to go through the tournament a few times to get one of these; given that it immediately puts you at level 5 intoxication, it's a great way to start a drinking binge that is maintained with level 1 alcohols--Ninjatek 08:25, 29 August 2007 (CDT)
Or you can just start with 5 level 1 alchohols and get the same effect except maybe a different looking screen --Gimmethegepgun 17:06, 29 August 2007 (CDT)

If I was going to try and farm alcohol I'd do Fronis Irontoe's lair over and over. It takes slightly longer, is much more fun, and the quest pays you an extra Dwarven Ale on top of the chest drop and 250 gold. Bison tokens should be used for the crown and that's it, in my opinion-69.3.253.209 22:49, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

Quest Drop[]

Some allied NPC dropped this during a quest or dungeon (probably near to the game's end). I don't remember any further details on this. --Warrior's Endurance numma_cway 09:41, 12 September 2007 (CDT)

Buger Blackpowder @ Heart of the Shiverpeaks quest. It occurs once per character, methinks. --84.24.206.123 10:01, 12 September 2007 (CDT)
