Is it worth mentioning that previous to the 20 Dec 2006 update, the heroes were lvl 2-12, however, now they are lvl 15? Also, it seems erroneous that both the heroes and the player recieve hero weapons. They are in fact duplicates of the equipped weapons your heroes have. It seems that the level increase was done to force players to do the Land of Heroes quest to stop them from ferrying low level characters to Consulate Docks for armor. - The extra set of hero weapons I got were NOT the equipped ones the heroes come with (the heroes come with their original low-level starting weapons). I had to manually equip them to the heroes and delete their starting weapons. I don't think the level change had much to do with the ferrying issue, I think it was more to do with players not wanting to have to level the heroes from scratch (Koss from level 2!) on their foreign characters. —

- One of the heros they were the same as the equipped weapons I'm pretty sure. This had me so confused because I thought that I had to carry my heros weapons even if they were holding them. —♥Jedi♥Rogue♥ 19:53, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

- I'd like to ask that the level that the heroes are when you get them is put into the article, I have been gone from GW for a while and just came back this week. If i had not checked the talk page i would have not known that they are level 15, the article only states that the quest you get is easy with level 15 heroes but does not in my opinion make it obvious that the heroes level is 15.If nobody adds it or objects in the following days i will go ahead and be Bold and do it myself if i remember X_X Durga Dido 07:48, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
