Great place to farm[]

If you are a 18-20 and want to earn some pretty easy gold and possibly get green items, war camp is a great place to farm. I would say 1/2-1/3 NPC's drop gold (around 98-130g) and all the henchies are lvl 20. Its way better farming and XP than Droks. Give it a try... We bought our guild hall from just farming there for a day.

Speaking of farming, why are the b/p groups so popular here? I thought a) those were mostly for Tomb of Kings b) pretty much obsolete builds anyway, what with build like Flame Barrage Ranger or Tankmaster Ranger around c) I gather from guildwiki that b/p is more a team build than an individual build. Is it simply that people are uninformed/unimaginative? --Jawn Sno 13:21, 11 December 2006 (CST)

A B/P with the standard support crew (which is why B/P is a team build) significantly outperforms Flame Barrage or Tankmaster in terms of damage. The pet and minion wall body-blocks for you. The pets are supposed to die, since that's how you get more minions. Flame Barrage is incompatible with OotV/OoP, so you're basically spending attribute points and skill slots to do something the Orders necro does for your whole team in B/P.
I sort of see the point about providing fodder for the MM with dead pets, but wouldn't dead bad guys provide equal fodder? I've used both Flame barrage (with mark of rodgort) and Tankmaster in Sorrow's Furnace quests/missions, and they are fun! I may be showing, however, my basic ignorance of farming here. I tried it once or twice with a PUG, using the requisite b/p build, and the whole venture really didn't go very well. May be more reflective of the vagaries of PUGS, though. I was just hoping to pick up a Drago's bow. --Jawn Sno 14:27, 11 December 2006 (CST)
B/P is better for Tombs, to be honest. — 130.58 (talk) 14:59, 11 December 2006 (CST)

The part where the music stops is actually outside the town, in Grenth's Footprint. - 69.248.175.25 05:22, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
