after you've landed the lead attack, how far do you expect them to get that full spell range matters? I can sorta see kiting a few steps short of attack or touch range but that note just feels odd to me. — Rogue 16:30, 12 June 2007 (CDT)
- Aura of Displacement. AoD -> unsuspecting strike -> disable AoD and entangling asp. =D M s4 16:34, 12 June 2007 (CDT)
- But what in world would be the point of that? Certainly not damage because you'd have to go back to finish them in this scenario. And there are easier ways to both poison and KD. It's even more rediculous than the note. I mean you could cast Scorpion Wire then disable AoD, and in exchange for poison, you are at least now back next to them. IDK, that doesn't really have much to do with this except that the note seems to oddly emphasize the full range.— Rogue 16:46, 12 June 2007 (CDT)
- commonly used these days with Dancing Daggers, which makes use of half range + however far they can run before you use it. -- <!--Zerris--> 16:49, 12 June 2007 (CDT)

- I've seen it a lot. The majority of uncreative players went Assassin and made a Shadow Prison build. Two nerfs (BoA and SP), they think all is lost, hear about Dancing Daggers buff, and this comes around. Oh boy... --NYC Elite 17:35, 12 June 2007 (CDT)

- What's about Dancing Daggers (even without investing attribute points), then Entangling Asp the foe (again, don't bother about attribute points) and then some heavy damaging dual attack like DB or HOTO? This in fact makes you knock down a target at range... --Jorx 09:07, 26 September 2007 (CDT)
Nobody should ever bother capping this from Shreader. Removed! ^__^ Seb2net 09:49, 27 July 2007 (CDT)
- Remove it after there's a mainland trainer listed. --Fyren 12:23, 27 July 2007 (CDT)
- I suppose there's the guy in the Harvest Temple, but I think I'd rather go to Shing Jea island than through the whole factions campaign for a skill if I hadn't already unlocked it. Seb2net 03:53, 28 July 2007 (CDT)
- I'm removing it, because according to Trainer Locations all Skill Trainers in Factions offer the skills offered by skill trainers before them as well. Dragnmn talk 09:08, 9 August 2007 (CDT)

What about non-fleshy (thus immune to poison) targets? Are they still knocked down? --Jorx 09:07, 26 September 2007 (CDT)
- It's two different effects, so even if they are immune to poison, they get hit by the knockdown effect. So long as they weren't immune to knockdown, they get knocked down for 2 seconds (3 if within Earthbind range or you are wielding Stonefist insignia). --Kale Ironfist 09:54, 26 September 2007 (CDT)
