This mission is semi-repeatable... My mesmer has at least done it 3 times. Not sure why/when it sometimes become available again... -PanSola 14:51, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

I'm not sure, but did you group with someone who hadn't done it yet? --Rainith 14:54, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
I kinda solo... or rather, each of my character only completed Thunderhead once, so the second and third time I got the quest from Shadow, it's by mapping into the Camp and see the big green ! on her head. -PanSola 15:01, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
It's not repeatable. It's broken. :) My warrior and my ele have done it numberous times. My analysis has been that it is "renewed" each time they change professions. Still, they have never gotten the reward itself more than once. --Karlos 17:46, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
You can abandon the quest too once you reach the ring of fire, i did that on my warrior to farm the chests near the white mantle. *Hugs perfect 15^50 white scythe* - Mcmullen 07:43, 27 November 2006 (CST)

Why does no one talk about the third route to get there? This route is way easier. At the Ether Seal you go left (heading south). Run to outside the Ether Seals' range and kill the Jades. Continue on your path, you will meet a lot phantom mobs at the next junction. However, if you look carefully and have little patience, all of the Phantom mobs will head elsewhere, leaving the road you have to take fully unguarded. You can sneak past all the mobs, effortlessly, without aggro-ing a single Phantom. The end of this road leads directly to the end point, behind enemy lines, and the first enemy you encounter is a solitary White Mantle Priest! You can take him out without a sweat, which will make the whole fight here a walk in the park. Disconnected 09:04, 6 May 2007 (CDT)

"Proper bosses"[]

The individual article says they're bosses. Can you cap from them or not? Having an elite has nothing to do with it. --Fyren 13:56, 31 May 2007 (CDT)

I just did the quest yesterday and they had an aura. Can't see why you wouldn't be able to. Still have a few characters with the quest, want me to bring a capsig next time I do it? ----GD 14:18, 31 May 2007 (CDT)

Anyone think that maybe the council members are a reference to three prominent saints of Northern England? Cuthbert, Bede, and Aiden? [anon; not sure how to sign this]

Except that Cuthbert is the only one that matches. Argyle -> Aiden? Not really. Bolivar -> Bede? No way. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 01:41, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
