Powerful but obnoxious[]
While powerful and useful, it is highly annoying that they stay right in front of you (if you are a ranger or spellcaster) and more importantly that you can't make them stay back when trying to pull (a comment that can be made about other allies, in general).
Phase Shield[]
I noticed that at least the G.O.L.E.M. 2.0 in defense mode sometimes apply a buff named "Phase Shield" to adjacent party members which provides a somehow limited immunity to damage. Anyone got more detailed information on this one? --130.75.179.75 17:44, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

- If you can get a screenshot of one doing that I'd be grateful, I was rather hoping these things could do better than one slow skill while in defensive mode. --Ckal Ktak 08:22, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- actually, they seem it do it more often now, specifically when they take about half there hp in damage, people around the defense have it. Its a 2 second cast, i have a screenshot of it on me but not them casting it.

- Any screenshot of a mouseover skill description would be nice so I could make the skill's page. --Ckal Ktak 22:21, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Ranged mode worth it?[]
Is the ranged mode worth it? The ranged mode skills don't seem very exciting. So I usually have 1 x Melee and 2 x Defense - or all Melee or all Defense.
- The ranged golem is useless compared to the melee ones (bodyblock, armor-ignoring/lifesteal, good armor); and it's always useful to have at least one defense, as they can heal/lifesteal for 100, and use Phase Shield if you're really in trouble. I've played through Destruction's Depths many a time, and I've given up on the ranged golems being useful at all. (T/C) 16:14, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
