Should we really be redirecting this? Its a bit too obscure :/ Lord of all tyria 21:07, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
GuildWiki isn't made of paper - OP might search - that's why I redirected instead of deleted RandomTime 21:46, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Or they could just search "zenmai" or "olias" - this isn't google, activate some of those atrophied brain cells. RoseOfKali RoseOfKaliSIG 22:34, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

A lot of new editors create a new page in the mainspace because they do not understand how namespaces work, or they are not aware of the Q&A areas of the wiki. They also know that someone will see the new page and take action on it, probably notifying them as well, so it ends up getting them the information they want anyway. So while it's true that redirects aren't harmful, that only goes so far... Gotb would be an example of one that's fine under that logic, as apparently it's a common typo. But, the idea of a redirect is that someone will probably search or link to it, and that makes it useful; this is just too obscure and it's highly unlikely that someone would use it other than the OP. And unfortunately, creating a million redirects in the mainspace for personal use is a bit excessive. Entropy Sig (T/C) 04:53, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Which is exactly why I said: this isn't google. Keep ones that are common and likely to be used, but get rid of the rest. RoseOfKali RoseOfKaliSIG 05:05, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
