Unlike other monster skills for which I have personally verified divertibility, I haven't checked it for this skill. (As you know, EotN has many monster skills, such as Diamondshard Mist, that are divertible.) I am parroting what appears on the Cyndr the Mountain Heart page. BftP 11:37, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

Not sure what you mean by that, but I tested it, while trying to complete it. my Gwen, used diversion on several occasions, just before he uses pyroclastic shot and he uses it again, after the normal recharge time. 12:43, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

Despite the skill saying '80' damage...I believe it is actually 214 vs 70 AL. 16:10, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

Damage equations are a complicated mess that take into account various factors including the attacker's level, the defender's level, the attribute level, etc... This boss is lvl 29. You are lvl 20. It is expected he deal somewhat more damage than the skill itself is rated. Add, he is a boss, so expect that that damage be doubled, activation times be halved, etc... My math (possibly in error) puts this at 217 damage against AL 70. Yamagawa 19:59, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

Wait how does his level effect the damage done by this skill? Damage is calculated based on armor rating not by the level difference between the targret and the attacker.--Glass 22:31, 6 September 2007 (CDT)

Elemental damage is dependent on levels. Roughly said, level 28 adds another 50% more damage to all skills dealing elemental damage. --Kashrlyyk
Sorry, I forgot level 28 against level 20. --Kashrlyyk

So it's fire Damage? Zulu Inuoe 23:05, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

And if so, does anybody know how it behaves with Mantra of Flame or Elemental Resistance? Mbourgon 03:33, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

I am pretty sure it is some type of Elemental damage, most probably fire...when I was here with my Ranger, I took less damage on a direct hit than my Caster H/H on the splash damage. It probably interacts the same way Wurm Siege does with Mantra of Earth - that is to say, normally. Entropy Sig (T/C) 04:17, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Is this a slow moving projectile and can it be evaded/dodged/"strayed" by running (with speed buffs possibly). If it "strays", will it still do damage to adjacent foes/allies(?)? Theoxygenthief 12:58, 5 September 2007 (CDT)

Yes this projectile can be evaded, but it will still do the damage to foes standing adjacent to the place where the projectile where suppose to hit you, it acts a lot like Fireball--Glass 22:40, 6 September 2007 (CDT)

The correct order of those applied conditions is: Burning, Crippled rendering an Extinguish almost useless. -- 14:51, 5 September 2007 (CDT)
