Many other pre-searing foes do not use skills, yet they have professions. Raging Cadaver not only has necro wands, but drops necro wands, staves, and offhands. Why not just call it a Necromancer then? -- WhiteAsIce 07:40, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- everything might drop necromancer stuff, but that will not make everyone automatically a necromancer. You cannot base the profession of a monster based on his drops-- -- ( talk ) 07:48, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- That's not my point. I stated that it does use necromancer weapons. If you want to argue your point, why is Snapping Devourer a Warrior? Why is Gargoyle a Mesmer? Why is Bandit Blood Sworn a Warrior? Is it because of the weapons they use? -- WhiteAsIce 08:06, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- A bit, and Blood Sworns can be checked against armor value. Althoug I think you have a point. Arnout aka The Emperors Angel 08:28, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

- A melee attacker is a Warrior, a ranged attacker can be a Ranger (most obvious), Monk, Ele, Mesmer or Necro. In Prophecies, monsters often wear the items they drop (Sometimes Skeletal Impalers have a lifesteal attack due to the mods on the bow). This means even a Monk monster can wear a Dead Staff with req Death Magic. --- -- (contribs) (talk) 14:51, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- i would say that they are necromancers because they only use necro-wands and necro-focus-items. also they drop mainly necro-items. they are at least so much necromancers as the tuto-gargoyles are mesmer. -- bernd_o0 15:05, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- They only use wands which make dark or cold damage.(looking at the attack projectiles) there is no other class (exacpt ritu) which uses wands with this dmg-type. so i think we can call them necros because of the many evidences:
- using of only necro items
- droping mostly necro items
- apearance
- dmg type
- if this is not enough, then i want an admin explain to me why the Gargoyles are mesmer -- bernd_o0 10:57, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- Don't take that as certain. As far as I can see that was just added, almost certainly by guessing due to their species, and if you use that as an example you'll just get Gargoyles questioned too. There's much more evidence of the profession of these guys than Gargoyles. A F K When Needed 11:02, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

- And these guys could be checked in HM in the quest at kryta. Do they drop necro tomes or not?--El_Nazgir 11:23, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
