They dont seem to be "fleshy" creatures. They do not bleed and do not leave corpses.

For the first time, I ran across a pair of level 17 Reed Stalkers. Startled the heck out of me as I was wandering around with my Level 14 guy just licking my wounds from a bunch of Bog Skales.
