Killed the shadow spawn right at the entrance with no slowdown effects or anything else.opened up with a desecrate enchantments and it aggro'd and attacked back. --MLegion 09:41, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
I just shot him once with a Flatbow and he got mad...nearly wiped me with Invoke Lightning. Surprisingly powerful bugger. Anyway, I have a feeling this bugging of the quest is related to accepting the Defending the Breach quest. Nothing else I can think of would change the dungeon.

I tried talking to Xapp, but he simply didn't talk back and I couldn't use him inside. However, the Shadow spawn is incredibly easy to daze and take down. Baffling how much difference there can be in difficulty between some quests... Karya Foxstep 14:15, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
