Extra addition perhaps?[]
Can someone please tell me whether it would be right to do this? I think that the creatures that these Giant Herders / Beastmasters ride should be given another page to themselves. They are referred to in a ranger quest as "Massive Snow Beasts of the Shiverpeaks" or something to that effect... if it's a good idea, what should the page be called? i need some feedback here! - Neilos Tyrhanos, 23.55, 29 july—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.67.230.124 (talk • contribs) 17:56, 29 July 2006 (CDT).
- they are called dolyaks i think, if you can prove otherwise go ahead, and please sign your comments with four tildes (~) (talk) 18:03, 29 July 2006 (CDT)
- Artemis the Ranger calls them "massive snow beasts" in the quest Stone Summit Beastmasters. Note that the creatures that the Beastmasters are riding on are definitely not Dolyaks; they have a closer resemblance to giant bears in bladed football-helmets. --Black Ark 18:13, 29 July 2006 (CDT)
- The giant herder and beastmasters ride something different other than Doyaks. I think they are just referred to as "giants", but are different from the regular type of giant monsters we encounter. -User:PanSola (talk to the ) 18:13, 29 July 2006 (CDT)

it's me, the writer of the original comment, User: Aptaleon Griefhaven. i added the page under "snow beast", but it got removed. can someone please give me an explanation?? --User:Aptaleon Griefhaven
- skuld deleted it, seemingly because no one has ever seen a snow beast. do you have a screenshot? --Honorable Sarah 14:26, 11 August 2006 (CDT)
the snow beasts are not seen alone, only with a rider. but surely they warrant a page? they are CLEARLY giants, they use giant stomp, cannot be knocked down etc, and are referred to ingame! since it's not the summit rider that is using the stomp / having resistance to KD, they deserve a page! --User:Aptaleon Griefhaven
