I thought Tar was a Spell. Was it changed in an update? Leeroythefeared 16:21, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
- In it's description, it probably still has spell. Last I remember/seen tar, it was a spell. --8765 16:36, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
- If it is, maybe it could be 'interrupted', so to speak. It would be funny if Diversion disabled it too ^^ Leeroythefeared 12:06, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
- What are you going to cast diversion on though? However it would be interesting to note if you could or could not be effect by in under Obsidian Flesh or Shadow Form. At least while it was a spell that is. — Rogue 12:34, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
- Grasping Earth goes through both of those. So tar would act like that (and more or less make sense, mechanic-wise). --8765 13:57, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Tar is still labelled as a Spell. I just investigated using Shadow Form with it and Tar is still applied, so I guess it was mis-labelled, especially since it's such an early part of the game. Leeroythefeared 15:28, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
- I don't think that's a valid test. I only mentioned it as a curiousity. If its untargetted (which it likely is as an effect) it will go through Shadow Form. — Rogue 15:30, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
- Ah, I see, just as Shadow Form can be affected from things like Fire Storm and Inferno. It's still noteworthy that it's labelled as a Spell though. :) Leeroythefeared 15:34, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
