Charr travel way[]

Can someone enlighten me about how the hell did the charr passed to Orr and than to Kryta, as described?

A) They could not get to Orr. The mountians are impassable, as said by A.Net themselves. B) Even if they COULD get to Orr, How would they get to kryta? shiverpeaks aren't an option, and the charr wasn't moving thorugh the sea as we know they came from the North West...

A.Net fail again?

I was wondering about this myself, how the hell did the Charr get anywhere else? They barely managed to infiltrate Ascalon. And we don't see any Charr ANYWHERE other than the Ascalon areas (and then only North of the wall), or a few select missions where they supposedly invade. As you mentioned the mountains are impassible, and no dwarfs speak of this (not to mention that the Charr we get to see are so low level they would not stand a chance to kill anything south of Ascalon) This just completely fails to make any sense, and seems like ANET was just looking for a convenient Plot Device to make things happen. --ZenonSeth 12:57, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
Well, with Eye of the North, we know it's possible through the Far Shiverpeaks. Norn culture is clearly unlikely to unite to prevent the Charr from crossing, and the Charr were likely focused on destroying humanity in Tyria at that point and wouldn't try to do more than cross, so that's a plausible route--most especially since similar things have happened in real-life history. I can only imagine they attacked Orr through Kryta, for there seems to be no other viable land route. As for the low level stuff, that kind of plot/gameplay disconnect has been a consistent flaw in RPGs for a long time. They could make the Charr as strong as the plot suggests they should be, but then what would the poor lowbies in Ascalon do then?
Edit: Of course, that would mean the Searing was only necessary for the invasion of Ascalon. Rather than needing to breach the wall to attack Kryta and Orr, it's probably more a matter of having hurt Ascalon badly enough to free up forces to attack the other two nations.
