- Flatbows most certainly do not suck. Read the Wind completely takes the arc out of a flatbow, making it the ideal weapon for most builds that use that particular skill. Skin is no substitute for functionality anyway.Ninjatek 18:52, 21 May 2007 (CDT)

- Agreed, flatbows are amazing for PvE. Good speed and range, and the arc can come in handy when shooting over objects. As long as there is a tank in the party, the slow arrows don't really matter either since most enemies won't be moving. However, they are a bit lame PvP.--81.151.48.146 15:42, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
