You think if u had a -5e set and used this skill then switch to a normal weap, u'd get 5 energy to spare....or a staff w/ 10 energy or so on.Toxin 22:48, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- Uh... doesn't sound like it would work, because only your regeneration is set by the avatar, while your max energy depends on your class and weapon choice. But there is a MUCH better thing you can do. Get a 15/-1 energy wand and focus, and you're set for a looong while. Zoldark's Focus and Zoldark's Rod are one such great example, along with many other greens and collectables. If you can meet the focus requirement, even better. Yingko's Claw is a cheap and fast farm for a 10 energy wand. Modoss' Focus is another cheap low level farm for 12 energy focus plus additional 3-6 energy depending on your energy storage. As far as collectors (the better alternative), just check the Collectors page for an awesome item list. There are plenty of full 15 energy items in low level areas, especially with low reqs that could be met for another 6 energy on the focus. Watch out, though, because wand is a ranged weapon, and no melee weapons have a 15 energy inscription bonus. You will just have to manually get within melee range of the target to use some "adjacent foe" skills. If this is annoying, simply use a melee weapon with a 15 en. focus. - Heh, just realized I misunderstood your question. :P Will have to test your theory. RoseOfKali 23:12, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- The answer is yes. If you switch to a higher energy set, you will get more energy. But, if you switch back, it will go away. It works just like the modify max health skills do. Entrea Sumatae [Talk] 23:15, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yup. Worked beautifully. I cast it with a sword/shield and immediately switched to a caster weapon, and got the full extra energy of that weapon. (in my case it was 42 energy from the dual 15/-1 set :D) RoseOfKali 23:16, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
