Ok, bad news.. There is a Waling Lord monster in the Underworld. Same looks even. It may well be that the Wailing Lord in the Fissure is one of them who is nice/more political/whatever. But in the Mean time, we have an NPC "Wailing Lord," we have a mob "Waling Lord" and we have a quest "The Wailing Lord." I could conjure up some way to add the mob, but want to make sure whoever cares is on board? Do I make an article Waling Lord (NPC) for this guy, or Wailing Lord (monster) for the bad guys? --Karlos 22:36, 30 October 2005 (EST)

I'd move this one here to "Wailing Lord (NPC)" and call the baddy "Wailing Lord". --Eightyfour-onesevenfive 22:41, 30 October 2005 (EST)
Is it gonna cost me 1 plat and a grueling trip to the UW to make you show up everytime? :) Good suggestion, I am leaning towards it too. I'll wait till tomorrow before I execute. --Karlos 22:46, 30 October 2005 (EST)
I saw that thing with all the dream riders, never got to kill it though, all my team left except 2 :P — Skuld 10:23, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
If one of the two (mob vs NPC) is going to be the "primary" one (without parenthesis in name), I'd say the NPC should be the primary one, since that would be the one most players care about (involved in two quests). For now I gave both of them parenthesis and kept in the same article, but I don't oppose splitting and/or let one of them be the primary Wailing Lord (like the Hagens). -PanSola 02:18, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

Species[]

He is not a Phantom. --Rainith 15:55, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

I'm no UW/FoW expert, but should Banshee be reverted to "??" too? --chrislee149 05:30, 29 March 2006 (CST)
Yes, done. --Rainith 05:38, 29 March 2006 (CST)

I think now that "spirits" have been officially introduced in Ch2, we should classify the Wailing Lord (boss and Monster) and the Banshees as Spirit (Species). There are differences between what you can do with them and to them than what you can do to the Spirits in the spirit article. But I think the "term" spirits is the best term to describe them, especially with the visual similarities. --Karlos 06:16, 29 March 2006 (CST)

I tend to agree with you on that but I believe there is a big long discussion on that (or something very similar to that) somewhere else. Possibly in Talk:Spirit or Talk:Ghost, I'm not sure and don't have the time at the moment to dig it up. --Rainith 06:29, 29 March 2006 (CST)
Could we just name in Fissure Creature as species? --Warwick sig Warwick (Talk)/(Contr.) 21:54, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
