I've found that Well of Blood is a good way to "steal" corpses from enemies like Devourers that like to use Putrid Explosion and corpse-bomb the party. Putrid takes 1sec activation, Well is 2sec, but that's -dang- close and if you're on the ball and paying attention, you can snag it away from 'em before they use it to damage you. Nunix

1-6?

my Mo/N has 12 in blood magic, and i'm quite sure it only gives +5 health regeneration. did we stop using 1-12 as our attributes scale? Nuble 13:59, 2 Aug 2005 (EST)

PvE enemy Well of Blood

I'm pretty sure I've found in PvE that enemy well of blood cause degen to the party. I think that was in the wilds or something. --Jamie Jamie 08:28, 26 June 2006 (CDT)

That was most likely Well of Suffering. - Greven 12:19, 26 June 2006 (CDT)
Well I thought that too... but the Centaurs in Maguuma Jungle do not use Well of Suffering. there is a boss that uses Well of Blood. and that does cause degen. See: Numa Plaguemane & Kara Bloodtail. --Jamie Jamie 02:33, 27 June 2006 (CDT)
Upon testing I found I was wrong. --Jamie Jamie 05:10, 30 June 2006 (CDT)

It's a Core skill

Yup. Just got it as my new Necro on Istan - if anyone could find which skill trainers teach it in Elona and Cantha, that'd be great. StormlordAlex 06:43, 26 February 2007 (CST)

Does this affect spirits?

It says ALL allies. If you had well of blood and well of power, you could have a potential +10 health regen on your spirits. Can anyone test this?

It's better for you to ask this on the new site, because 95% of the editors moved there. --El Nazgir sigEl_Nazgir 19:57, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
It's probably a bad idea to direct users to GuildWiki when they ask questions- Sannse is watching, you know. Based on the wording, I would guess that it does in fact affect spirits. I imagine it would only not affect them if a) the skill description is incorrect and it does not affect allies (but since there's no bug note, I assume it does), or b) wells are internally considered hex and enchantment effects.
