Hiya Wings! You may want to adjust your signature to only include one image in it so that it meets GW:SIGN. Thanks, and good day! --Zampani 10:52, 26 February 2007 (CST)

Does my signature have to only include 1 pic or is it a suggestion? -- Monk-icon-small"Wings"Monk-icon-small 16:44, 26 February 2007 (CST)
Hope you don't mind, I moved your response here. Common wiki etiquette is to keeping an entire conversation together, typically responding in the same section or page as original comments. Usually the original poster will keep tabs on new additions to conversations through their watchlist.
As for your question, looks like Barek answered you over on Xasxas256's talk page. Policies on the wiki are meant to be followed by all users, as they have been decided on by the user community. If you were to disagree with a policy (not saying you are, just as an example), you're always free to propose changes, though you'd need to get community agreement with your idea before things were changed. Hope this helps! --Zampani 01:49, 27 February 2007 (CST)
ummm ok thx, -- Monk-icon-small"Wings"Monk-icon-small 01:52, 27 February 2007 (CST)
Policy is not a suggestion, policy is practically law here at Guild Wiki. Yes, you can use a single picture, two are against the policy. If you disagree with it, you can always start a new discussion about it in the policy talk page. Until (and if) the policy is changed to allow two pics, you do have to use at most one, though. --Dirigible 01:55, 27 February 2007 (CST)

You should also note the following line in the signature policy: "The icon's image file should be exclusive for the signature, not shared with anything in GuildWiki. This allows for a redirect on the image file to the user page or the user talk page. Note: The image can be a duplicate of another image, if it's resized appropriately." --Gem-icon-sm (talk) 05:42, 27 February 2007 (CST)

what would i have 2 do in order to use the monk pic Monk-icon-small -- "Wings" 05:45, 27 February 2007 (CST)
If you have an icon you'd like to use (the monk icon you mention for example) there are a few simple steps you can take. Download the image to your pc, then upload it back to GuildWiki using an appropriate file name (using Gem's icon for example, you could call it something like "Wings-icon-sm.png"). Be sure to read over the Image Use Policy for any image you upload. Finally, it's typical that people will redirect views on "their image" to their user page or talk page. If you need help with that, just ask -- many of us would be willing to give you a helping hand. --Zampani 11:40, 27 February 2007 (CST)
The monk icon would also need to be resized before resaving it under a new name. All profession icons are 20px high - and the policy says that images in sigs should not be taller than 19px. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 13:18, 27 February 2007 (CST)
Well could some1 make that monk pic 19 px and upload it when i tried to upload a pic it failed. -- user:Wings That Heal

My talk page

That made me laugh. Oh, and thanks for the works of sign page.- Avatar of Lyssa Leader Rat (Sign) 06:21, 6 March 2007 (CST)

The same box on my talk page didn't make me laugh. The statement was utterly wrong and adding such boxes which look like additions of the user himself is far from nice wiki etiquette. If you don't believe that I am having more fun than work on the wiki, see my contributions and my fun page. Many of my talk page comments include smilies. On some time periods all of my comments include smilies. I don't take the wiki too seriously, but I do take your box too seriously. --Gem-icon-sm (talk) 07:01, 6 March 2007 (CST)
the box didnt mean anything, i was bored. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 18:10, 6 March 2007 (CST)

Try looking at other peoples pages and using "edit" (*just* to look) and seeing what code they used? I've borrowed a few of my ideas from other users. --Zerris (talk) 18:19, 6 March 2007 (CST)

dont like to copy. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 18:22, 6 March 2007 (CST)

The point some others are kindly trying to make is that editing another person's user page goes against wiki etiquette, whether or not the change was in good intentions or humor. Most people don't like it. Some users even consider it an act of vandalism, though it's not likely someone would be punished for it unless they continued after being warned. Generally speaking it'd probably be best to keep posts to other people's talk pages, and not play on their user page. --Zampani 19:32, 6 March 2007 (CST)

Basicly use left to right until Repeating Strike then just spam that for 0 energy. If you get blind use Signet of Malice to remove it.

use for PvP for basicly spiking casters, even spamming Repeating Strike on Melee's or Rangers.

Discuss Here

You asked "Is this any good". In theory: Yes. In practice: No. The problem with Repeating Strike is, that it basically replaces your normal attack, and the chance to Double Strike, with some Bonus Damage. A far more effective way to do damage, is to get a Lead > Off-hand > Dual Strike chain off and repeat it. The synergy between Way of the Empty Palm and Repeating Strike was already done. Build:A/N_Spinal_Assassin, Build:A/Mo Palm Siphon, Build:A/Mo Repeating Empty Palm and Build:A/any Sleight of Hand. As you can see, they are unfavored :(

If I where to suggest you any build I would recommend the one I'm using currently: Build:A/W BoA Assassin. I don't play PvP, but the upper builds seems to be the FOTM ;] I exchanged Shadow Prison for Assassin's Promise and Expose Defenses for Siphon Speed. SS is used as a backup Hex to star the chain is Promise gets striped. I was worried, that Assassin's Promise wouldn't do any good, but it turned out great! The only problem I have is Hex Removal, where you have to cover Promise with SS, or Snares. Snares can be overcome by using Dark Prison, but I don't have Radiant Armor ^^ — Poki#3 Poki, 10:38, 12 March 3012 (CDT)

damb, im getting sick of BoA sin and i though spamming repeating strike would be good cause a sin owned my sin with it. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 10:40, 12 March 2007 (CDT)
I dont think its a spike. This is probably better warrior primary so you get more armour -armour penetration and longer IAS. Even then I wouldn't use it personally. Duel attacks hit twice so spike much faster, For example combos like black lotus>twisitng fangs>black spider>blades of steel -is like using a 6 skill combo in the space of 4. and it has posin deep wound and bleeding amaongst the damage, and the bonus on blades of steel it huge. Using a single smaller +damage skill repeatively is inferior. Jups 10:52, 12 March 2007 (CDT)
I know i use BoA sin in PvP but sometimes the spiker doesnt work proberly then you have to wait a while for the BoA sin to use agian, but this one can be maintained over a long peroid of time, and you can use Flurry for a almost constant IAS. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 10:55, 12 March 2007 (CDT)
Yeah pherhaps a larger amount of damage over a longer period of time. So facing something with 2k hp this would own a spiking combo using duel attacks. but since the BoA combo pretty instantly kills a regular bub with about 500 hp, its better. Try it warrior primary. Jups 10:57, 12 March 2007 (CDT)

nah cant try it warrior and 1 skills is critical strike any way. thx tho, and i know BoA sin owns i just hate hex breaker. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 11:01, 12 March 2007 (CDT)

but my more liked build is the Build:A/any Critical Fox build beats dervs and warrior 1 on 1, or 3 on 1 i was tanking em lol and killing them without them hurting me lol, i use me own varrient tho. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 11:01, 12 March 2007 (CDT)
BoA sin is way overated and virtually every uses it now. If you have a good monk on your team they cant kill anyone, thats why i prefer dazing builds. a dazer vs a BoA loses 1n1. but a dazer takes out the enemy monk, then moves onto the BoA with support from his own monk. Then the battle goes to the dazer as he has taken the boa's support. I really like my golden skull build it blocks like your critical fox, and once in RA i was alone vs 2 warriors and a monk and i beat them as non could do much damage. and thier monk cannot heal once dazed Jups 11:15, 12 March 2007 (CDT)
BoA isn't "Overrated". It's very good, and THAT'S the reason people use it. If your target has a good monk on his back, you won't kill him, but that goes for virtually any builds. Daze builds are great Ani-caster's, but you probably won't kill any non spell user, since your DPS will be lower. Finally, the Critical Fox. I made a very similar skill bar myself, while toying with Nightfall, and it's a good pressure, with good defense, but isn't as Spiky as I'd like it to be, though if def is your game try it. I think that Assassins should be on the offense, and not play with defense :P — Poki#3 Poki, 16:48, 12 March 2007 (CDT)

Its just fun to play with an assassin tank in PvP and little scrimages becasue no1 can kill you, and it shits em off that they cant kill an assassin lol, but as for BoA guess ill have to keep using it unless u wanna tell me ur build jups. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 17:01, 12 March 2007 (CDT)

I already told you my build :P And "no1 can kill you" you say? Believe me, there's a wide range of things that can kill you. If just a mater of, will it kill you fast of faster :P — Poki#3 Poki, 17:10, 12 March 2007 (CDT)
I've said it before ^ it doesn't matter how quikc you kill if there is a port monk on each team. they stop you killing. Thats why i daze the monk. kill him. wait for him to be resed and kill him again, whilst team mates kill the other foes. I think beguiling steel build is the best favoured build on this site. It was my favourite build of all time in testing week 1 before it got nerfed. Jups 18:35, 12 March 2007 (CDT)

Remember what a dual attack does, and since you can spam them, try and meet there conditions. Twisting fangs is a good example of a powerful and expensive dual attack that can fit into any bar. Solus Shield of Judgment 01:07, 13 March 2007 (CDT)

What about this, think this would be better:

Way of the Empty Palm Caltrops Burst of Aggression Golden Phoenix Strike Repeating Strike Feigned Neutrality Signet of Malice Resurrection Signet

This would probably be more effective, since this has snare, self-heal and still a condition removing skill.----InfestedHydralisk Shadow Prison 15:37, 14 March 2007 (CDT)

2. Don't place those tickers on other users' pages, it's inappropriate, you're not supposed to do so. It's even worse when the tickers are also negative in nature. --Dirigible 06:16, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

You broke GW:1RV again on the User:Auron of Neon page. I strongly suggest you look over that policy carefully, since it seems you're not familiar with it and its purpose.
That said, I'm not going to re-revert, but it doesn't mean that adding those tickers is fine. It's very important for you to understand that other users' personal space should be off limits for you (and me, and every other editor). It's especially so when what you added borderlines on offensive. They may be fine with it (it wouldn't surprise me if Auron decided to keep his), but it doesn't mean that you just adding it to their userpage is fine. Post it on their talk page first, ask if they want it on their userpage. It's called common sense and civility, please feel free to excercise both. --Dirigible 06:30, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

Hi

Please refrain from vandalising User:Auron of Neon, thanks. — Skuld 08:04, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

im not vandilising it, i am only adding a little message box at the top, which i will let the user remove and i wont add it agian, but i am sick of others from removing it for them, you never no they may keep it there like D.Elements does. -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 08:06, 22 March 2007 (CDT)
You do know that you break GW:1RV when adding it again and again?- Leader RatRat 08:09, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

Ino but also Skuld breaks the rules by entering a revert war also i dont listen to people that havnt signed my guest book -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 08:10, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

I have signed it and i say do not add the sticker again.- Leader RatRat 08:12, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

i wasnt talking about you, and i will add the sticker until the user Auron of Neon removes it because he may keep it no one know except him -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 08:14, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

Wings you cant add things to other peoples user pages (he may be the only person to be able to remove it but he is also the only person to be able to add it) and using the 1RV policy the way you are implying is incorrect. You should be asking people for permission in their talk page before you edit their profile and yes, you know i signed your guestbook so you have to listen to me :P -- Xeon 08:16, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

ino its wrong i am not a terrorist or vadiliser, but i am sick of people removing content i post (usally on user pages, not always tho) so i have decided to just revert back till the user him/her/it self removes it -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 08:19, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

You are consciously and repeatedly violating Wiki policy. Do you understand that? --Dirigible 08:21, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

Please use the sandbox instead of creating pages like Flsdjfsdlfjl. Thank you. Haku Banish 08:24, 22 March 2007 (CDT)
Sorry bout that, did you sign? -- Wingsthatheal-icon "Wings" 08:25, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

Your actions of late

This business about signing some guestbook is getting out of hand and using it as an excuse for breaking policy is uncalled for. Also, recently creating a nonsensical page and being here long enough to know that is also uncalled for. Please take time to reflect on your actions on this wiki while you are on a break. Thanks. — Gares 08:38, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

Also please do not edit other peoples user pages as it is forbidden. You also once added a box on the top my talk page (and possibly on other peoples talk pages too) which is not a nice thing to do, although not strictly forbidden by policies. You should ask permission on the talk page first or just make a suggestion for the user to add it himself and give the code to use. --Gem-icon-sm (talk) 08:44, 22 March 2007 (CDT)
