Player after taking 10 Absinthe
Vial of Absinthe (formerly just Absinthe) is an item available during the Halloween 2005 and Halloween 2006 special events. It is traded by several Halloween collectors in severals cities in Elona and Tyria. In addition, Absinthe is handed out as a random prize for players who obeyed the Mad King when he appeared at Lion's Arch and Kamadan.
It causes a green flame to flare at your feet for a second, then gives a blurry "drunken" effect that compounds with multiple uses within a short period. The screen will also turn more green the more drunk you are. Other than the flame it is comparable to Hunter's Ale or Dwarven Ale. If enough Absinthe is taken, it causes your character to do things that you never commanded, such as dance, cheer, sit etc. It will also cause you to say things that you did not type, appearing above your head, but not in the text bar, such as "I Love You Man" "Oh No, Not Again", "I'm King Of The World!", "It's Spinning.." and "Everyone stop shouting."
Halloween collector items, purchased or recieved from the Mad King, will remain in each character's inventory until they are used or destroyed.
