White Moas are charmable animals native to the Far Shiverpeaks.

Locations

In all locations, a flock of White Moas may randomly spawn each time you enter the area. They are somewhat rare, so you will probably have to re-enter the area multiple times to find them.

• Far Shiverpeaks
  • Drakkar Lake (spawns outside Sifhalla near Norn Hunting Party NPC Ruven, runs south to Norrhart Domains)
  • Jaga Moraine (spawns in northeast corner, runs south to Bjora Marches)
  • Varajar Fells (spawns outside Olafstead, runs north to Drakkar Lake)

Notes

• The easiest place to charm a White Moa is in Drakkar Lake near the resurrection shrine and Norn Hunting Party NPC Ruven south of Sifhalla. They will run away as you approach, so bring a running skill or two to make sure you can catch one.
• Since they run in large flocks, multiple party members can tame one at the same time.
• Other species of Moa can be found throughout the world:
  • Striders in Pre-Searing Ascalon.
  • Moa Birds in Ascalon.
  • Black Moas in the Echovald Forest.
  • White Jingle Moas in the Far Shiverpeaks.
• White Moas deal piercing damage unless they evolve to dire, in which case they deal slashing damage.

Anomaly! White Moas in the wild cannot be attacked and will not turn hostile while being charmed, and thus cannot be death-leveled there.
