Wroth's Holy Rod is a Unique Item dropped by Wroth Yakslapper in Grenth's Footprint. There are two versions of Wroth's Holy Rod.
Weapon stats[]
Versions dropped before the December 8th, 2006 update have the following stats:
- Holy damage: 11-22 (Req. 9 Smiting Prayers)
- Halves skill recharge of Protection Prayers spells (Chance:20%)
- Halves casting time of Protection Prayers spells (Chance:20%)
Versions dropped after the December 8th, 2006 update have the following stats:
- Holy damage: 11-22 (Req. 9 Smiting Prayers)
- Halves skill recharge of Smiting Prayers spells (Chance 20%)
- Energy +5 (While Enchanted)
Non-unique counterparts[]
The new version of Wroth's Holy Rod can be replicated with the following:
- One of the following:
- A Smiting Rod crafted by Hadusi in Kodonur Crossroads or Tehshan in Barbarous Shore.
- A PvP Smiting Rod.
- A perfect (+5) "Have Faith" Inscription.
- A perfect (20%) Wand Wrapping of Memory.
The old version cannot be exactly replicated, as its bonuses are only available on upgradable wands with Protection Prayers requirements (which would be the only difference). If ignoring the weapon requirement and damage type (for monks who do not attack enemies), then the bonuses can be obtained by:
- A Protective Rod crafted by either Gertrud in Vasburg Armory or Telamon in Leviathan Pits
If ignoring only the attribute requirement, the bonuses and damage type of the old version can be replicated with:
- Either:
- An inscribable Protective Wand crafted by Hadusi in Kodonur Crossroads or Tehshan in Barbarous Shore.
- A PvP Protective Wand.
- A perfect (20%) "Aptitude not Attitude" Inscription.
- A perfect Wand Wrapping of Memory.
Notes[]
- Versions of Wroth's Holy Rod dropped before this update have not been changed.
- Ivor's Smiting Rod has the same stats as the new version of Wroth's Holy Rod.
- Flannuss' Rod and Droknar's Protection Scepter have very similar stats to the old version, but require Protection Prayers.
